Yes, it’s a little late for a “Best of 2013” post, but I’m a little slow—so it’s all good.

Here at My Odd Sock, a lot happened in 2013.

At least that’s what my parole officer tells me.

So I thought we could take a look back at what some (none really) may consider to be the best of My Odd Sock.

In “More Dumb Stuff”, was an old photograph of Betsy Ross sewing the American flag.

(Notice Betsy’s bandages in her poor attempt as a seamstress!)

This photo from “You Are Worth A Fortune” explains how the disabled are earning big bucks as tour guides at Disney World.

Showing off my talents with Microsoft Paint is this photo of an alien wearing socks from the post “They Walk Among Us.”

Not to be outdone is this photo of diaper-clad baby spinach from the post “Consumer Research Dept.”

(How adorable!)

Finally, this photo fav depicted what an MSer feels like during the ehat of Summer.  From the post “Grab A Mop, I Think I’m Melting.”

Weirdest Photos of 2013

Of course, let’s not forget some of the worst photos from the past year…

Uffph, this mug appeared in “Exercise Your Face Off.”

(It’s the reason why some species eat their young.)

In “Stem Cell Study:  Three Months Later,” I showed the web how my hairline is receding faster than the polar ice caps.

Lastly is this photo of what appears to be me giving a prostate exam to a teddy bear bank from the post “Roll’em Up.”

(Very disturbing indeed when seen out of context.)

Best Humor Posts of 2013

Here are a few of my favorites from the past year….

In “Flakey Way To Riches,” My Odd Sock tried to get rich by selling corn flakes that resembled something else.

Here is a flake shaped like Marge Simpson’s hair-do.

“2nd Annual My Odd Sock Back-To-School Shopping Guide.”

Hot gotta-haves for the upcoming school year.

“What Happened To Breakfast.” Cookie Crisp?  Cinabon Cereal?

Morning cereal has been replaced by breakfast sweets.

And “Warning:  Graphic Violence” wasn’t a disclaimer for a movie—but some common warning labels found around the home.

Best MS Post of 2013

Popular MS posts included:

“Side Effects May Include” was a quiz testing your knowledge of side effects of common prescription medications.

“Games Your MS Will Play” compared your MS to popular kid’s games.

“What Are You Thinking” was a what-if look at an MRI that could record your thoughts during your scan.

Rounding out the year was “Candid Conversations” between two syringes of your MS medication.

Phew, 2013 was a crazy year at My Odd Sock.

Let’s hope you kept your lunch down and plan on returning in 2014!
