Plane Play

Now boarding!…

Many air travelers ask “Why are kids so disruptive at the airport?”

The answer is simple….They are bored.  Bored to death.  Tired of the waiting.  The long lines.  With nothing to do.

Well, good news!

Through a generous grant, the Anderson Regional Airport in South Carolina announced plans for a new interactive playground…just for young flyers–complete with an aviation theme.  How exciting!

With an exclusive first look, join My Odd Sock as we take fun look at SC’s new aviation playground…

Ride the Kiddie Carousel from one end of the park to the other!
See who can cram the most crap into the Overhead Storage Bin and still get the door closed!
The Smoldering Obstacle Course. Children find their way thru the framework of a flaming dirigible. Calories aren’t the only thing to get burned!
There’s the Hypersonic Kid Spin. Be just like a real astronaut!
Of course some youngsters may find the rides too intense and must take a moment with a complimentary “yack-sack.”
Be a pretend gunner on a military aircraft and shoot at others playing. Don’t worry moms–they’re rubber bullets!
Active play means hungry kids. Good thing for a full snack bar. And absolutely, duty-free!
Always know the status of your scheduled playdate by checking the big board. And don’t be late!
Can’t find’em? No need for parents to worry with the Amelia Earhart Lost Kid Zone.
Fly a big jet just like real pilots–but keep it above water in the MH370 Kiddie Cockpit.
Finally, be the first & only kid brave enough to ride the playground rocket…unfortunately built by Boeing. Thank you for flying with us..and GOOD LUCK!
